A winner of two races in France, Stormy Victoria (Fr) was sent to America where she improved to win four more races including the Listed South Beach Stakes. Her first two foals are winners led by Group-placed 3-year-old gelding Amazing Fluke (The Autumn Sun) and this is a family on the move.
“An athletic filly with good legs and great depth of quality and a really nice mover,” said Luke Wilkinson, Kia Ora Stud’s racing manager of the I Am Invincible filly.

“Even though she has an obscure American pedigree, we just liked her athleticism, and we had to buy her.”
Amazing Fluke is trained by Tony Pike in New Zealand and ran third in this season’s G2 Wellington Guineas. His year older half-sister Villefranche (Snitzel) was a winner at three and is currently racing. Last year’s dual Group 1 winner in France Iresine (Fr) (Manduro {Ger}) is a member of this family.

“We also knew in the back of our minds that Mr Krishnan would have loved the pedigree and he passed away in October and we thought if we put this in front of Mr Krishnan, he would’ve said ‘buy it’, so we had to. If you come to the farm, there are a lot of nice stakes-winning mares from America.
“She’s off a fantastic farm in Milburn Creek who we work well together with. We are five from five stakes winners with Anthony Freedman, so he’ll be top of our list.”
