Twin Hills Stud have announced the 2025 fees for their four stallions, led by G1 Blue Diamond winner Daumier who will stand at an unchanged fee of $16,500 inc GST for his third season. The joint Champion 2YO Colt of 2021/22 served good-sized books of 88 and 74 mares in his first two seasons.
Daumier debuted with a victory in the Listed Blue Diamond Preview (c&g) and won the G1 Blue Diamond at just his third start. Fourth in the G1 Golden Slipper, Daumier has plenty of precocity in his pedigree, being one of two Champion juveniles for his sire Epaulette – the other being South African Group 1 winner and sire Soqrat. He’s from a Woodlands family with a build up of Darley/Woodlands sires in his damline being out of a Street Cry (Ire) mare from G2 Surround Stakes winning Lonhro mare Parables, and from the family of Politeness (Street Sense {USA}) and New Zealand Group 1 winning juvenile On The Bubbles (Brazen Beau).
Daumier is joined by proven sire Smart Missile, who remains unchanged from 2024 at $13,200. He’s had a fantastic season thanks to Briasa winning the G1 TJ Smith Stakes, and he has Aviatress running in Saturday’s G1 Robert Sangster Stakes. Triple Missile became his 27th stakes winner when adding the Listed Bunbury Stakes recently. Smart Missile is one of Fastnet Rock’s best sire sons.
Exciting young sire Peltzer, a son of So You Think (NZ), drops from $16,500 to $11,000 for 2025, and he has his first crop of 2-year-olds showing plenty at the trials. He was a better 3-year-old himself, winning the G2 Stan Fox Stakes, so his own progeny should be about to explode on track. His second crop of yearlings sold well this year, averaging $86,000 with a top price of $260,000.

Hallowed Crown, proven sire of seven stakes winners led by dual Group 1 winner Collette, will be available at $8,800, the same price he’s been for the last two years. Winner of the G1 Golden Rose and G1 Caulfield Guineas, Hallowed Crown has plenty to offer breeders wanting a proven stallion at a good value price.
Run by Olly and Amber Tait, Twin Hills Stud is the original name for the Cootamundra property which was known as Dawson Stud in the 1970s and Transmedia Park in the 1980s who stood Snippets, Rubiton, Sovereign Red (NZ), Savage Toss (Arg) and Sir Dapper at the property. In the 90s, the farm was run by Woodlands Stud, and was transitioned to Darley Twin Hills in 2008. In 2017, Olly and Amber purchased the Cootamundra property from Darley, giving it back its original name.
Denman has recently been retired to live out his days at Twin Hills Stud, his own place of birth.
