Trade continued at a good pace amid wild weather on the second day of the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, with Arrowfield Stud’s Dundeel enjoying a successful day selling the top-priced colt and filly lots at the sale. While aggregate and clearance rates are both currently sitting below last year’s figures at the same stage, buyers continue to appreciate the quality on offer, with average and median on the rise. In a tough day at Sha Tin with falls in two separate races, four jockeys were hospitalised with Champion rider Zac Purton to miss four weeks with a broken toe.
