Whether they are a particularly well-bred or high-priced runner early in its career chasing maiden success, a promising galloper returning to the track or a horse which has trialled particularly well, we’ll aim to give you something to follow.
Two exciting runners are set to hit the Ballarat Synthetic Track on Sunday, including Xtravagant (NZ) and Hellbent mares that both look ready to win maidens on the Ballarat-Synthetic track after showing good form previously.

Fair Game, 4-year-old mare (Hellbent x Fairchild {General Nediym)
Fair Game, a daughter of Yarraman Park’s promising stallion Hellbent, will be making her third start on the Ballarat-Synthetic Track for Cranbourne trainer’s Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr Freedman. She has shown lots of promise in her career so far running good placings at Pakenham and Ballarat.
The well-bred mare is the sixth-live foal from the General Nediym mare Fairchild, who was a two-time winner at 1000 metres on the track. She has since left four winners including Fair Game, Honey Pot (Spirit Of Boom) who has also been stakes-placed, Suspenders (Snitzel), Sir Magic (Magic Albert) and Faeger-Telecom Brothers (HK) (Choisir).
Fairchild’s dam Dancer’s Joy (NZ) (Danzatore {Can}) was a four-time winner including the (RL) Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Fillies S., She has then went onto be a successful broodmare leaving seven individual winners.
Fair Game was a $320,000 purchase by Yes Bloodstock Pty Ltd from the draft of Three Bridges Thoroughbreds at the 2022 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Miss Xtravaganza, 4-year-old mare (Xtravagant (NZ) x Extension {Manhattan Rain})
Tuesday’s Ballarat-Synthetic meeting will serve as the venue for the fourth career start for Miss Xtravaganza, a progressive daughter of Xtravagant (NZ) from the Mitchell Freedman stable. She has most recently ran two solid second’s on the same track at her last two starts.
Miss Xtravaganza is the first foal out of Extension (Manhattan Rain), who was unraced on the track. Miss Xtravaganza’s granddam is the talented Wonderful Lass (Catbird) who was a four-time winner from 1000 metres to 1600 metres and was successful in the Listed Tatt’s RC Recognition S., and managed a placing in the Listed Red Rose S . She has gone onto become a handy broodmare producing the winners Whakamiharo (Better Than Ready), Moonshiner (Artie Schiller {USA}), Mosuo (Star Witness) and Snapchat Girl (Lope De Vega {Ire})
Extension since producing Miss Xtravaganza, has left a three-year-old colt named He's Xtra, a two-year-old filly by Tassort and also a yearling filly by Tassort.
Miss Xtravaganza was a $20,000 purchase by Mitch Freedman Racing from the draft of Newhaven Park at the 2022 Inglis Classic Yearling Highway Session Sale.
Looking Back
Creativity Miss (Written Tycoon) ran a very good third at the Sunshine Coast where she ran on strongly from back in the field.
All Eyes On Her (Zoustar) was unfortunately scratched, she will keep for another day.
November Air (Pierata) ran a close-up fifth at Wyong, she is working towards a win
