Looking Ahead puts the spotlight on runners of interest across Australia and New Zealand. Whether they are a particularly well-bred or high-priced runner early in its career chasing maiden success, a promising galloper returning to the track or a horse which has trialled particularly well, we’ll aim to give you something to follow.
Three exciting runners are set to hit the track across Australia on Thursday, including a promising Spirit Of Boom filly that looks ready for her first win and a full-sister to Atishu (NZ) (Savabeel) on debut at Pakenham. At Gosford we have a well-bred I Am Invincible colt debuting on the back of a smart trial win.

Both Arapaho Miss and her daughter Miami Bound were both winners of the G1 VRC Oaks.

Looking Back:
At Kensington Mr Artemisia (The Autumn Sun) ran a brave race finishing second, he ran on strongly and performed well. Wild Gypsy (American Pharoah {USA}) won well, she was very tough and looks like she will improve with more distance and better ground.
At Sandown Cora Lynn (Exceed And Excel) finished second after making good ground in the straight, she looks to have plenty of natural ability and will improve off that run.
