Lot 63 - Toronado (Ire) x Hera (NZ) (O’Reilly {NZ}), colt - on account of Gilgai Farm
Gilgai Farm will present this colt by Swettenham Stud’s Toronado (Ire). The colt received a substantial boost when his half-sister Herastar (Starspangledbanner) took out the Listed Cinderalla S. on debut in February.
The family was further enhanced when Zabmanzor (NZ) (Almanzor {Fr}) was placed in the G1 Levin Classic January then fourth in the G2 Waikato Guineas later that month.
Lot 417 - Snitzel x Amerindia (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), colt - on account of Bhima Thoroughbreds
This son of Arrowfield Stud’s four-time Champion Sire Snitzel is poised to receive plenty of attention. He is a half-brother to the triple Group 1 winner Militarize (NZ) (Dundeel {NZ}).
Militarize has returned in fine form this autumn. He placed behind Fangirl (Sebring) in the G2 Apollo S. on resumption, adding a further two Group 1 performances to his resume with a second in the G1 Randwick Guineas and a third in the G1 George Ryder S. at his most recent start in March.
Lot 449 - Zoustar x Calming Influence (Commands), colt - on account of Alma Vale/Kitchwin Hills Partnership
Lot 449 is a half-brother to the G3 Eskimo Prince S. winner Caballus (I Am Invincible).
Caballus was a graduate of Bhima Thoroughbreds 2022 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale draft where Tom Magnier secured him for $1 million.
The son of I Am Invincible was re-sold for $315,000 to Darby Bloodstock on the 2023 Inglis October (Early) Online Sale. He subsequently won three races, culminating in the Group 3 victory in February. Most recently Caballus was third in the $1 million Inglis Sprint.
