Lot 77 - Anders x Lucky Legacy (Lookin At Lucky {USA}), colt - on account of Cornerstone Stud
His half-brother Hell And Back (Hellbent) - who had been in the placings at his first three starts for the Tony Gollan stable - broke his maiden in impressive fashion at Doomben on Tuesday.
Out of a dual city-winning daughter of the Listed Gibson Carmichael S. winner Fuji Dancer (Fuji Kiseki {Jpn}) whose half-sister Blucielo (Marscay) is the grandam of the sparingly raced 6-year-old Master Fay (Deep Field) who recorded an easy G3 Concorde S. win in late January.
And Blucielo is also third dam of Mercurial (NZ) (Burgundy {NZ}) who won the G1 Telegraph H. in January. What a family this is - that of Sovereign Red (NZ) and Gurner's Lane (NZ) (Sir Tristram {Ire}) and of current star Mr Brightside (NZ) (Bullbars).

Lot 154 - Shamus Award x Quietly (Bernardini {USA}), filly - on account of Ambergate Farm
Her dam is now a half-sister to a black-type performer, the promising 2-year-old Kuroyanagi (Written Tycoon) who recorded an easy Gawler debut in late January before being only just outbobbed by Hayasugi (Royal Meeting {Ire}) in the G2 Blue Diamond Prelude and running on soundly when third behind that same filly in the G1 Blue Diamond S.
Four of the five Shamus Award runners out of Bernardini (USA) mares are winners and this filly's dam is a granddaughter of the Listed Burgess Queen S. winner Magdalena (Snaadee {USA}) - also grandam of the South African Champion 2-Year-Old Entisaar (More Than Ready {USA}) and the four-time Listed winner Mizlecki (Lope De Vega {Ire}).

She is the first foal for a two-time winner whose half-sister Long Wink (Stratum) is the dam of a very exciting 2-year-old - the well-named, last-start G2 Reisling S. winner Erno's Cube (Rubick).
There has already been a classy juvenile in this family, the G1 JJ Atkins S. winner Rothfire (Rothesay) who is still racing in great heart at six, in early January winning the rich King of the Mountain at Toowoomba.
This filly's Listed Dark Jewel Classic-winning dam Romare (Marscay) produced another 2-year-old stakes winner - the Listed Debutant S. winner Eramor (Stratum) as well as the dam of the stakes winners Emerald Kingdom (Bryannbo's Gift) and Steel Frost (Bryannbo's Gift).
