On Sunday, a Waikato Stud homebred by the outstanding Savabeel will debut at Sale in Victoria. Meanwhile, a daughter of the exciting first-season sire Dubious will debut on the Sunshine Coast.

Amarysso (NZ), 3-year-old filly (Savabeel x Sparkling {NZ} {O’Reilly {NZ}})
Ben, Will and JD Hayes will debut Amarysso (NZ), a homebred daughter of Waikato Stud’s multiple Champion Sire Savabeel.
Retained by her breeder, Amarysso is the sixth foal from the unraced O’Reilly (NZ) mare Sparkling (NZ), who is closely related to the G1 Telegraph H. and the G1 Waikato Sprint victor Sacred Star (Flying Spur).

Sparkling has produced the G1 Centenary Sprint Cup placegetter Regency Legend (NZ) (Pins) and the four-time winner Blesk (NZ) (Savabeel).
The seven-time winner and G1 New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ S. victress Diademe (NZ) (Savabeel) is also part of this family, as is the Cambridge Stud-based Embellish (NZ), who won the G1 New Zealand 2000 Guineas.

Skyport Lane, 2-year-old filly (Dubious x Bimini Road {Real Saga})
Skyport Lane, a daughter of Kitchwin Hills' first-season sire Dubious, will debut on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday.
Steven O’Dea and Matthew Hoysted train the filly, and she is the second foal from the Real Saga mare Bimini Road, who won three races.
Bimini Road hails from the family of the G1 Randwick Guineas victor Kementari (Lonhro). In addition to his Randwick Guineas victory, Kementari also claimed the G2 Hobartville S., the G2 Gilgai S., and the G3 Hall Mark S.

Kementari was also placed in several other Group 1s, including the G1 Caulfield Guineas and the G1 George Ryder S.
The G1 Sires’ Produce S. placegetter and the G1 Golden Slipper fourth, Telperion, is also part of the family alongside the G1 Golden Shaheen victor Sterling City (Nadeem).
Skyport Lane was a $140,000 purchase by SkyePort, Proven Thoroughbreds and O’Dea Hoysted Racing from the draft of Eureka Stud at the 2023 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.

At Caulfield, our selection Evaporate (NZ) (Per Incanto {USA}) was unplaced in the G3 Chairman's S. While, at Rosehill, Celerity (Exceed And Excel) was scratched at the barriers of the G3 Widden S.
