Impressive last-start trial winner Due Calzini will make his anticipated debut for the Danielle Seib stable on Wednesday at Doomben.
The son of Bowness Stud’s first-season sire, D’Argento, is the second foal from the More Than Ready (USA) mare Terminally Pretty.

His dam won once over 1000 metres, and her first foal to run, Hay Joe (Swear), has won twice from five starts. Terminally Pretty’s dam Moon De French (USA) (Malibu Moon {USA}) was a talented galloper in the US, winning the Listed Adoration S. at Del Mar and finishing third in the G1 Lady’s Secret S. at Oak Tree.
Due Calzini was a $60,000 purchase by Danielle Seib from his breeder Bowness Stud at the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Apres Ski, 3-year-old filly (Exceed And Excel x La Parva {Lonhro})
A well-related Godolphin-bred-and-owned filly, Apres Ski, will step out for the first time on Wednesday at Randwick-Kensington.
Apres Ski’s dam, the Lonhro mare La Parva, was victorious as a 2-year-old, but she is a full sister to the talented Ghisoni, a victress of the G2 Tea Rose S.

Their dam Portillo (Red Ransom {USA}) was also highly talented, winning the G2 Surround S., the G2 Magic Night S., and the Listed Gimcrack S., in addition, she recorded placings in the G1 Flight S. and the G1 Golden Slipper.
Furthermore, Apres Ski counts the speedy Larkspur Run as a relation. The daughter of Shamardal (USA) claimed the G3 Hong Kong Jockey Club S.

Call Me Gorgeous, 3-year-old colt (Deep Field x Alderney {High Chaparral {Ire}})
Call Me Gorgeous will debut for David Pfieffer on Wednesday at Randwick-Kensington. The colt is the fifth foal from the High Chaparral (Ire) mare Alderney, who has already produced the Group 3-placed Riduna (Fastnet Rock).
Alderney carries a well-performed relation herself, being a full sister to Ballet Suite a victress of the Listed Princess S. She also ran fourth in the G1 Vinery Stud S.

Call Me Gorgeous is a sales ring veteran. First offered by Glastonbury Farms as a weanling at the 2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Weanling Sale, he made $90,000 to Hopetoun Lodge.
The colt caught the eye of Tal Nolen, who purchased him for $120,000 from the draft of Lauralyn Park at the 2022 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale. Under his Nolen Racing banner, Tal Nolen sold the son of Deep Field for an incredible $550,000 to Anton Koolman Bloodstock at the 2022 Inglis Ready2Race Sale.
