Looking Ahead puts the spotlight on runners of interest across Australia and New Zealand. Whether they are a particularly well-bred or high-priced runner having their first or second start, a promising galloper returning to the track or a horse which has trialled particularly well, we’ll aim to give you something to follow.
For racing on Thursday, we travel far and wide, starting in New Zealand. Our first runner in focus is a Turn Me Loose (NZ) filly debuting for Mike Breslin. We then head to Bendigo, where a beautifully bred juvenile colt lines up for his first start. We finish up at Kembla Grange with a $200,000 yearling colt by U S Navy Flag (USA).

Looking Back
Things didn’t exactly our way on Wednesday; 2-year-old colt Les Vampires (Pierro), who was sent out a warm favourite, was turned over in Race 1 at Canterbury (he finished third) while Fang It (NZ) (Embellish {NZ}) and Alacrity (Hellbent) were both unplaced in Race 1 at Sandown-Hillside.
