Torryburn Stud is steeped in a rich history back to colonial times and has long established itself as one of the Hunter's leading thoroughbred nurseries. This progressive farm has also announced itself through brilliant race and ring results.
Torryburn Stud is located in the picturesque Paterson Valley, approximately 1 hour from Newcastle and 30 minutes north of Maitland near the township of Gresford.
Torryburn Stud has firmly focused on the quality of the product produced. We have established a broodmare band of approximately 50 mares, a full-time dedicated spelling farm with approximately 100 spellers and we aim to provide the best level of care to all of our horses.

We are offering three roles with varying responsibilities.
*2IC to the Stud Manager
* Truck Driver/ Stud Groom
* Live on farm Senior Stud Groom
We are seeking experienced and dedicated thoroughbred enthusiasts to join our like-minded team and we may have accommodation available for the right person.
Essential requirements for all roles are:
• Previous experience in a similar role in this industry and a dedicated passion for horses
• A willingness to maintain the highest possible standards, exceed expectations and have great attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and teach our young staff
• Own transport and a current drivers licence (truck drivers role HR)
