Six wins in a row and his biggest one yet for the very exciting Mazu (Maurice {Jpn}) who was racing at Group 1 level for the first time.
Bred by Parsons Creek Pastoral Co and purchased by Triple Crown Syndications for $180,000 at the 2020 Inglis Classic, Mazu is one of the six stakes winners for his in-form Arrowfield Stud-based, sire and third Group 1 winner - Hitotsu and Pixie Knight (Jpn) the others.
His two local Group 1 winners are both out of granddaughters of Danehill (USA) (Danzig {USA}), Hitotsu's dam being by Redoute's Choice (Danehill {USA}).
Mazu's multiple stakes-placed, multiple city-winning dam Chatelaine (Flying Spur) is doing a great job at stud with all five of her foals to race being winners including the G1 Coolmore Stud S. winner Headway (Charge Forward) whilst one of her placed daughters Cheyenne Sue (Zizou) has produced the Listed Redoute's Choice S. winner Let Me Sleep On It (Manhattan Rain).
Served last spring by King's Legacy (Redoute's Choice) having foaled a Toronado (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}) colt in early November, Chatelaine had missed the two seasons after producing Mazu.
G2 Spirit Of Boom Classic, $250,000, 1200m
Swiss Exile (Pariah) broke his maiden in fine style with this success at his fourth outing.
Bred by Gerry Harvey and purchased by Annabel Neasham and Brian McGurie for $95,000 at the 2021 Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale, he is a member of the first crop of his Arrowfield Stud-based, dual Group 3-winning sire and he is his first stakes winner.
He is the second of only two foals produced by the placed Swiss Francs (NZ) (Swiss Ace) whose first foal One More Grandy (All Too Hard) - a bargain $6000 purchase - won at her Oakbank debut for the Shane Oxlade stable a few weeks ago.
Swiss Francs' half-sister Zulia (Hussonet {USA}) is the dam of the Listed South Pacific Classic winner Indy Car (Sebring) and her third dam is the wonderful mare Skating (At Talaq {USA}) - the dual Group 1-winning dam of the stakes winners Murtajill (Rock Of Gibraltar {Ire}), Sunset Run (End Sweep {USA}) and Bradbury's Luck (Redoute's Choice).
Other descendants of Skating include the Group 1 winners Vancouver (Medagalia D'Oro {USA}) and Juste Momente (Giant's Causeway {USA}) and the Group winners Tenley (Medagalia D'Oro {USA}) and Biscayne Bay (Sebring).
G3 Rough Habit Plate, $250,000, 2143m
Appreciating a step up in distance, Dark Destroyer (NZ) (Proisir) was determined holding off a late challenge - doing a good job winning his fourth race from just nine starts and his third in Group company.
Bred by WE Jeffries Ltd and passed in at the 2020 New Zealand Bloodstock Yearling Sale (Book 2), he is one of the seven stakes winner numbers for his Rich Hill Stud-based, G3 Spring S.-winning sire.
He is the first named foal for the lightly raced All Can Party (All American), half-sister to the metropolitan winner Exclusive Choice (Redoute’s Choice) out of a daughter of the multiple city winner Party (Lunchtime {GB}) who did a great job at stud with her nine winners including the Group 1 sprinters Masked Party (Marscay) and Festal (Vain).
Party’s daughter La Bamba (Last Tycoon {Ire}) has also done a fine job at stud with her 10 winners including the G1 Hong Kong Sprint winner Inspiration (Flying Spur), the G1 Australian Guineas winner Wandjina (Snitzel) and the Listed winners Lucky Unicorn (Redoute’s Choice) and Provence (Redoute’s Choice) - in turn dam of the stakes winners My Admiration (Encosta De Lago) and Banaadeer (More Than Ready {USA}).
Party is also ancestress of the G1 Spring Champion S. winner Complacent (Authorized {Ire}), the triple Group 1 winner Dracula (Quest For Fame {GB}) and the G1 New Zealand Oaks heroine Miss Sentimental (NZ) (Reliable Man {GB}).
Not served in 2021 with her previous foal dying, All Can Party paid a return visit to Proisir (Choisir) last spring. By that stallion she also has a yet to be named 2-year-old who was purchased by Kaipira Lodge for NZ$180,000 from Book 2 at the New Zealand Bloodstock Yearling Sale.

Yonkers (USA) (Medaglia D'Oro {USA}) emerged victorious from an exciting two-horse battle, in doing so recording the 10th win of his 38-start career and his second in black-type company having taken out the G2 Shannon S. last spring.
One of the 165 stakes winners for his former shuttling sire, he was bred by Forging Oaks Farm out of the dual stakes-winning Oasis Dream (GB) mare Anne Of Kiev (Ire) whose dam Top Flight Queen (GB) (Mark Of Esteem {Ire}) is a half-sister to the triple Group winner Sacrament (GB) (Shirley Heights {GB}).
Bred on 4 X 7 cross of Cap And Bells (USA) (Tom Fool {USA}) - grandam of Medaglia D'Oro's (USA) sire El Prado (Ire) and dam of Drone (USA) (Sir Gaylord {USA}) - Yonkers (who is also line-bred to the wonderful mare Lalun {USA} by Djeddah {Fr}) hails from the family of the Group 1 winner Chorist (GB) (Pivotal {GB}) and fellow stakes winners Mac Monarch (Ire) (Unfuwain {USA}), Sennockian Star (GB) (Rock Of Gibraltar {Ire}), Gospel Choir (GB) (Galileo {Ire}), Crucial (GB) (Pivotal {GB}), Icelandic (Ire) (Rarity {Ire}), Icicle (GB) (Polar Falcon {USA}) and Ginmann (Ire) (Fast Company {Ire}).
Ancestress of this family is Fancy Free (GB) (Stefan The Great {GB}), dam of the G1 Epsom Derby hero Blue Peter (GB) (Fairway {GB}).
Listed Bright Shadow, $150,000, 1200m
Out of the winner's circle for a while, Written Beauty (Written Tycoon) was back to her best here, winning her second race at stakes level having taken out the G3 Red Roses S. at Flemington in the spring of 2020.
A homebred for Orbis Bloodstock, she is one of the 47 stakes winners for her sire, Yulong's reigning Australian Champion Sire. Her dam is the two-time winner Beauty World (Danehill Dancer {Ire}) who has done such a great job with her nine winners from 10 to race.
Another four of her progeny are stakes winners... Loveyamadly (Bel Esprit) (in turn dam of the G3 McNeil S. winner Immortal Love by Snitzel and the Listed Talindert S. winner I'mlovin'ya by Capitalist) and Hi World (High Chaparral {Ire}) and Ducimus (Snitzel).
Meanwhile another two of her runners - American Crew (Stratum) and Where's Wally (Rogano) - are stakes placed.
Not currently in foal, Beauty World had a Deep Field colt last September whilst her 2-year-old is the yet to race, Orbis Bloodstock-owned, Chris Waller-trained filly Ravisher (I Am Invincible).
Written Beauty is one of her sire's 10 stakes winners line-bred to the champion stallion Better Boy (Ire).

Tough in trying conditions, Diamil (Ire) (Awtaad {Ire}) recorded his second win from five starts on Australian soil - taking out a Listed race at his first attempt at stakes class.
Backing up from a solid performance in last weekend's The Coast, Diamil is the seventh stakes winner for his G1 Irish 2000 Guineas-winning, Derrinstown Stud-based sire, a son of Cape Cross (Ire) (Green Desert {USA}).
He is the first winner for the lightly raced Leopardstown maiden winner Diylawa (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) whose stakes-placed dam Dibiya (Ire) (Caerleon {USA}) produced another nine winners including the Listed winners Di Fede (Ire) (Shamardal {USA}) and Dibayani (Ire) (Shamardal {USA}).
Diamil is a descendant of - and line-bred to - the famed matriarch Frizette (USA) (Hamburg {USA}) whose most prolific descendant Mr Prospector (USA) (Raise A Native {USA}) is 6 X 5 X 5 in Diamil's pedigree.
