Impressive last-start winner Yulong Island (Exceed And Excel) is the eighth foal out of Lindisfarne (Viscount), who was purchased by Yulong for $65,000 at the 2016 Inglis Sydney Weanling and Broodmare Sale.

Also responsible for Listed winner Excellent Reward (Exceed And Excel), Lindisfarne is out of Chaparra (Canny Lad), who produced stakes winners El Cambio (Commands) and Complicate (Commands), as well as Cataclysm (Marauding {NZ}) who is the dam of G1 Blue Diamond S. winner Earthquake (Exceed And Excel) and Saturday’s Listed Christmas S. winner Pandemic (Sepoy).

Marsannay (Snitzel) was purchased by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Racing for $400,000 at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the draft of Rosemont Stud and is the eighth foal out of Bourgogne (Choisir), making him a half-brother to G1 Caulfield Guineas runner-up Lizard Island (Sebring).

Bourgogne herself is out of Fionnay (NZ) (Crested Wave {USA}), making her a half-sister to G1 VRC Oaks winner Bulla Borghese (Beling To Me {USA}), who is also the dam of Group 2 winner and Group 1 placegetter Bound For Earth (Northern Meteor).

Purchased by David Redvers and Mulcaster Bloodstock for $500,000 at the 2017 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the draft of Arrowfield Stud, Vitesse (Snitzel) is the second foal out of winning mare Sananda (Ire) (Anabaa {USA}).

Sananda is out of Sanariya (Ire) (Darshaan {GB}) making her a half-sister to triple Group 1 winner and Champion Older Female Stayer in France Sarafina (Fr) (Refuse To Bend {Ire}) as well as stakes winners Sanaya (Ire) (Barathea {Ire}) and Sandagiyr (Fr) (Dr Fong {USA}).
