Fleet Review (USA), the stakes-winning and Group 1-placed son of War Front (USA), will stand in Victoria this season at Glen Eden Stud.
Trained by Aidan O'Brien, Fleet Review won the Listed Creekside Dash at The Curragh before finishing third behind stablemate and now Valachi Downs stallion U S Navy Flag (USA) in the G1 July Cup at Newmarket.
He came to Australia to contest Group 1 sprints, but never found his best, and will now begin his stud career at $8800 (inc GST).
He becomes the third son of War Front to stand in Australia in 2020 along with Spendthrift's Omaha Beach (USA) and Kooringal Stud's The Brothers War (USA), and will stand alongside Giant's Steps (Arg), Rebel Dane and Mint Lane (USA) at Glen Eden, which is located north of Kilmore.

“Fleet Review is impeccably bred. His dam is a full sister to Rip Van Winkle. He was a powerful colt that achieved multiple wins as a two-year-old as well as a narrow defeat in the G1 Middle Park S. where he ran second behind another of War Front’s successful sons in U S Navy Flag," Glen Eden Stud Principal Sonia O’Gorman said.
"Fleet Review concluded his 2-year-old season with a rating of 115 closely behind European 2-year old champion U S Navy Flag. Fleet Review returned to the racetrack in his 3-year-old season to win a stakes race at the Curragh and then finish a strong third in the G1 July Cup against the older horses."

“He is an impressive specimen in both type and conformation, and with a beautiful temperament to match. We believe he is great value for breeders to tap into one of the best sire lines in the world.”
War Front's influence in Australia has grown over the past 12 months thanks to his son Declaration Of War (USA), who stood at Coolmore for two seasons.
He produced three Group 1 winners from those two crops, Melbourne Cup winner Vow And Declare, Victoria Derby victor Warning and Queensland Oaks heroine Winning Ways.
War Front himself has produced 21 individual Group 1 winners, with stakes winners in the USA, England, Ireland, Hong Kong, France, Canada, the United Arab Emirates as well as in Australia with Homesman (USA), who won the 2018 G1 Underwood S.
